Fresh Relevance has reached the 200 customer milestone since starting in 2013.

The Southampton-based real-time engagement marketing company now boasts a diverse customer-base that includes Cottages4U, Emma Bridgewater, Euroffice, illy,, Moss Bros, Sunuva, Thorntons, White Stuff and 7dayshop.

2015 was as much about technology innovation as it was market and company growth (the team [pictured above] moved to a larger head office in the summer). This was recognised by Only Influencers, who awarded Fresh Relevance ‘Email Innovation of the Week’ three times. Earlier in the year, its cart abandonment solution was revealed as the most recommended by members of the Only Influencers community.

Looking forward to the year ahead, CEO of Fresh Relevance, Mike Austin, said: “We believe 2016 will be the year that real-time marketing becomes mainstream. Personalisation based on real-time shopper behaviour will be critical for retailers across web, email and mobile channels. Adoption of real-time marketing techniques will be critical to the success of eCommerce companies in the coming year.”

To help make this prediction a reality Fresh Relevance has introduced two new products. The Social Proof SmartBlock enables online retailers to share real-time statistics with shoppers, showing what products and services have been recently viewed and/or purchased. Its new personalised coupon feature launched in November enables marketers and retailers to personalise the content of email coupons based on the behaviours of existing customers and new visitors, such as browsing habits on the website and recent purchases.
