Data stars shone bright on the night
The stars of the data and insight-driven marketing industry were honoured at a sparkling Gala Dinner on September 24th at The Brewery in Central London as the winners of the annual DBM Awards were announced. Organised by Database Marketing magazine, the longest-standing title in the industry, the Awards are now a well-established highlight of the calendar.
Hosted by TV funnyman Fred MacAuley, the event saw B2B marketer and Cyance Chair Mike Housley honoured with a Special Recognition award for a career spanning four decades while Morgan Jamison of ProTyre collected the Rising Star award.
Some outstanding client campaigns from a host of household names were also recognised on the winners list including Homebase, Mothercare, Guardian Media Group, Virgin Atlantic Airways, National Savings & Insurance and Sony Mobile Communications.
On the agency side, those picking up awards included Callcredit Information Group, Marketscan, Alchemetrics, MRM Meteorite, R-cubed and Intelligent Data Group.
