SDL has introduced a new component of its Customer Experience Cloud, the Digital Experience Accelerator. The Digital Experience Accelerator is designed to reduce website implementation time from weeks to days, reducing operating costs.
The component can be used right out-of-the-box or customised to meet specific customer needs. Additionally, SDL reports that the open-source based component can be extended with other capabilities by SDL partners, enabling organisations to deliver powerful customer experience solutions quicker than before.
Using SDL’s web experience management technology, organisations can deliver meaningful web and mobile experiences with minimal development and setup effort through the re-use of content, assets, customer profiles and rules. Business users can easily take advantage of rich features, including in-context editing, rich media, targeting, personalisation and localisation, to deliver more engaging experiences and positively impact their business in near real-time.
“The SDL Digital Experience Accelerator is a fantastic component within the SDL Web ecosystem,” said John Winter, Co-Founder, SDL Web MVP, Content Bloom. “As a preferred implementer and SDL solution partner, our team has been using the Digital Experience Accelerator to kick-start our clients’ implementations, reducing weeks of effort into days.”
“Enhancing the customer experience starts with a brand’s ability to get things done right, giving them the time needed to focus on the consumer and allowing them to make decisions that positively impact their bottom line,” said Mark Lancaster, SDL CEO and Founder. “With the release of our Digital Experience Accelerator, we’re making it possible for organizations to be more efficient with less and provide the opportunity to focus on other critical elements of business, resulting in measureable customer experience success.”
For brands looking to deliver a blended marketing and commerce experience, SDL’s Digital Experience Accelerator can be extended with an eCommerce accelerator to enable commerce in web content management led environments. The current eCommerce accelerator works with hybris, with additional accelerators for other commerce vendors planned in the future.
