Mobile trends reveal multiscreen preferences

The latest insights into mobile marketing trends have been revealed by Return Path.

One of the five trends highlighted is the importance of marketers knowing your audience as consumer behaviour changes depending on which brand from which sector they are interacting with; 60% of clothing retailer messages were opened on mobile compared to 30% of travel mail.

For any retailers out there hoping that the shift towards mobile communications among consumers will help simplify their email marketing this festive season and into 2015, there will be some disappointment in the findings from the study, which highlights that it is multiscreen and not mobile-only which is driving consumer engagement.
